CIIT Students Bag Third Place at the Pangarap.PH Competition

Second year Video and Motion Graphics student Dexter Jordan and MMA Diploma students Amiel Kabigting and Kathrine Jamandre placed third in the recently held online, amateur video competition Pangraph.PH. With over 65 entries, their entry, “Our Dreams”, wowed the judges with their unique concept of selfless love. The competition was featured on PTV Channel 4.

Inspired by other CIIT students who have been recognized in several other multimedia competitions and events, the trio did not hesitate to grab the opportunity once they learned about the contest. “We wanted to showcase our talent as CIIT students. We were really fighting for the pride of our school. The cash reward was a huge bonus,” says Dexter.

The three acknowledged the school and its extensive curriculum, which were huge factors in enhancing their skills in video editing. “We learned a lot in school through our hands-on activities. We were taught about conceptualization and cinematography, among others.”
